Subject to the restrictions described below, any information about you which is obtained by Boys Choir of Springfield, Inc. (BCS) during the recruiting process may only be used and retained by BCS for purposes of considering your qualifications for volunteering. BCS may also, provided that your individual information is de-identified, use such information for general research purposes regarding our recruitment process.

The information collected may include a limited amount of information of a sensitive nature, but only if you provide this information.

Access to your information will be limited to the number of persons in the local BCS organization that need such information for assessing your suitability for the Executive Board as well as for general administrative tasks or those that we are obligated by law to share the information with. This includes, but is not limited to people teams, management, interviewers, IT support and authorized vendors that we use to provide recruiting services.

The collected information will be retained for a reasonable time, long enough to allow us and you access (upon request) to the information on which the volunteer decision was based. After that time your data will be deleted. It will also be deleted upon your request.
 BCS may, during the allowed retention period, use this information to reconsider your qualifications later if a suitable position becomes available and, if appropriate, refer back to this BCS again during the retention period.



By submitting your information, you acknowledge that all representations made by you are true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, and you have not knowingly omitted any relevant information. You understand that any inaccurate information may disqualify you from volunteering before or after you are selected. By submitting your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the foregoing and consent to the uses of your information as set out above.
